Ink Trails Tattoo Forum _ Art Class _ Off site tutorials

Posted by: josh Jun 17 2007, 07:19 PM

Was hoping we could consolidate some of these off-site links to other tutorials.  If we get a good set of links going, it'll be easier to find them later.

Please update the thread with other as you see fit, and maybe a discription of the site.

while i am no fan of manga/animae/japan-ampation, these tutorials are really good for cartoon style art.  Sometimes the client wants what we don't like...always good to have it in the tool-box

All of these sites seem pretty great.  Now if I could just find the time to do the exercises.

ok this isn't so much a link to a tutorial on how to make images but a very useful extension to how to use Google to find an image for reference
this may be old hat to some but I recently ran across it from a link from a link someone else posted here and I love it!
cheers

also, if you get an account on deviantart you can simply go to "collections" and you'll find tons of tutorials from manga to realism to anatomically correct items such as skulls, human proportions etc. It's like an open book on every tutorial you could possibly ever need. This site has helped me more than just about anything, and if you have a problem with a tutorial, most artists that post tutorials are more than willing to lend a helping hand in guiding you in the right direction
