Ink Trails Tattoo Forum _ Q & A Corner _ Cover Up Question.

Lets say there is a tattoo with some pretty faded red and yellow, and I wanted to cover up with some black and some avocado green? will the green go over solid or mix with the red and yellow? I have just been wondering about this for a while. Its a tattoo on myself so dont worry. I just always think about it. Thanks
