Hello and good afternoon/morning/evening/night or at whatever time you read this introduction;
I just wanted to say hello and thank you for this site; I've traveled around the web looking for tattoo forums like this one, and let me tell you... there are some pretty messed up places out there where asking a simple question can turn into a "Let's smash this novice desire to learn!!" thread... you know what I'm talking about. My only desire is to learn from people who have screwed up and learned from their mistakes, and of course... learning from the very good artists it's good too. I've always liked creating art; from the simplest plastilline figurine to the weirdest forms of arts imaginable to the human mind; I bought a tattoo kit from a not so reliable site, and I got what I paid for, but hey... let's look at the situation in perspective; I now have new tool to create art; and no matter how cheap or bad it is, if you know how to use it you'll make art. Well fellas; that's it for my introduction to your site... hope to enjoy the stance. P.E.A.C.E. -------------------- I got the style but not the grace.

Just because you got a crappy kit doesnt mean you should try to make art on people. I did the same thing and jumpped right in and got some mixed results. Mostly halfassed work that turned out pretty good but without direct instruction i dont knwo if thats good enough to ask ppl to live with.

I know what you mean; one of my friends wanted me to try on him, but I couldn't do it man... I knew I was going to screw up if I tried; I mean, bad equipment + no experience= epic disaster. And that's why I tried on my knee; I drew the Zen symbol... with the same crappy ink that came with the kit. I'm not disappointed or anything, since I was expecting it; I just wanted to start practicing... and hey; it's not me, it's only my body; the tattoo wasn't that bad though. Thanks for the advice Kit Wiz. -------------------- I got the style but not the grace.
