Me as a newbie I say thanks to the warm welcome. Looks like alot of talent on here. I came here to find another media to work on. I've been an airbrush artist for 14+ years now and thought I would try a new field of art. You can check out my personal site at www.hagenair.com .
I hope to post some pictures soon. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

I think this forum is great. I have always enjoyed the culture of tattooing and body piercing. I started to apprientice in georgia while I was in the Army and stationed there. I would spend every off post minute in that little tat shack. I never actually got the chance to pick up a machine and practice but I have done about 25-30 piercings. There is a lot of information here and it is filling in some of the holes that I didn't learn while apprienticing. Which is great cause my wife just bought me me a superior machine for our anniversary.
So and advise to some one that has familiarity with the equipment and operation just have never used?

*raises glass to toast the forum*
Most people i've encountered via the web re: learning the art of tattooing have been rude and condecending... I feel lucky to have found a community of like minded aspiring artist to talk shop with.
