i quite often miss the odd new member introducing themelves when we hit upon a busy time ... would it not make sense to have a secction where anyone joining can go and leave an intro so we can find them all in one place and noone gets lost???

I've thought about it and was tempted to create a section called "Introductions" ust so we wouldn;t get the "Hey, Newbie here!" thread. However, I also feel that it would just look silly to have a whole section of posts like that. I wish they'd post in "Party & BS." What do others think?

I'll be honest, if there was a special section just for newbies to say hi, I probably would never go and read it... it wouldnt cross my mind too.
No offense as I am not that long here myself, but it wouldnt draw me in to read that section.

Agreed. I guess we'll have to put up with the occasional "Intro" post

can we settle on guiding them to the right place to make thier intro by adding it as a sub heading of Party n Bullshit ... ''everything not related to tattooing and the place to intro yourself'' ... that way they are all in one place ... just a thought??

i agree with BW. every other forum has an intro section. i cant see how it would look silly. but its not my forum, so il just go with the flow.

So you think I should add an "intro" subforum to the "Party & BS" section (similar to how we recently added "Technique &Tips," etc...to the Apprentice Q& A Section)?

I think Intro sections are a good Idea.. it gives people a "place" to start posting..
and saves us all from having to scroll through them all when looking for a specific thread under other area's
I like it just cause it gives it a "place" this board is going to get HUGE.. you have a great thing going and I honestly suspect it will become VERY large.. is always a good idea to keep things tidy as possible!

"Member Introductions" subforum added to "Party & BS" board. If you guys think it should be it's own board (maybe above "Most Requested" let me know and I'll change it.

Jason..
not sure if it should go about Most requested.. as that is one of the top forums if you ask me..
but I also dont know about it being a sub forum.. being that it is for noobs.. I honestly dont think many will notice or know about the subs..
