THIS IS A SITE FOR ARTISTS, NOT CLIENTS (Please read before posting)   04/18/2018

I'm seeing a lot more questions from people who are looking to get tattoos, asking about ideas, healing instructions, etc. These are questions you should ask YOUR  LOCAL TATTOO ARTIST, not random people on the internet. This site is specifically for tattoo artists and those looking to get into the trade by way of an apprenticeship. Don't be shy! Google local artists and drop by a shop or two, check out their portfolio of work and talk about your ideas with a professional who can help you achieve the best tattoo experience.

       Thanks for reading!

I did this on somebody I worked with. For some reason he insisted on this with vertical tribal ish which to me clashed 100% with the horizontal name cover up, it's not complete the top part isn't solid filled and so on. Was thinking of a greywash to cover the rest of he name even though the wash will be touching the black parts to cover them completely.

If it's not covered then it's not a coverup, more like a 'disguise' to take your eye away from the name. It's your job to explain to people what is gonna work and what isn't!

a cover up to me has always been a disguise.

if you look at 99% of cover ups you can see the one underneath

many times not because  a cover is not done well, but because what they wish to cover is scarred and raised..
