Have linked to the Swallows & Daggers tattoo blog a couple of times now. They're a brilliant resource for traditional and neo-traditional tattoo design inspiration and artists. Plus, each myspace page they link to will lead to you discovering even more cool art.

They've just issued their first magazine. I went ahead and ordered a copy. Feel like they've saved me a fortune in tattoo books!

My copy arrived today, and I sat and read it :P I was a bit surprised to find the format was more newspaper than magazine, but after a few minutes I felt like I was reading a fancy literary supplement, hehe.
Good content; some informative interviews, pretty pics and well-chosen articles.

The fault that stood out to me was the apparent total absence of any editor or proof-reader. Fair enough including errors in the interviews, which I think were mostly conducted over the net, but to have errors in the introductory note looks a bit shabby. I don't know what the normal rules are for correcting obvious typos in submitted articles...I don't think it's right to blur the lines between teh internets and correct printed English so much.. *shrug*

Overall verdict: I will be buying Issue 2 when it's published :)
