  1. PANTERA - shedding skin... Sllipknot - before i forget... SLAYER - anything by them
  2. i dont know how it is in other studios but latly we have had a good bit of down time...where is everyone?....we have had conventions and festivals and all sorts of that shit going on around here....so i find myself twiddlin my thumbs sometimes... i draw and doodle sometimes when i'm inspired...but what do you guys do to fill the hours when nobody is getting tattooed?
  3. its like a scrap book that you keep with you forever..my tattoos remind me of the good times and bad times that i have lived through and conquerd...like a timeline of sorts....i started tattooing because i got sik of seeing artwork in a museum...shh,no talkin, dont touch....bullshit its art it should be out and about,in your face...it is what i believe to be the highest and most pure form of expression...it conveys my feelings toward authority and general normalness...i love tattooing and i consider it an honor to tattoo someone...
  4. i really like the skulls..has a nice Gouge feel to them.maybe a little more saturation and shadow to the 2nd skull....but the Elvis face seems to be a bit off...good work tho...

  6. NERD: dude that would be kool of you...you are one of the guys i learnd alot from...and have much respect for..i love the inktrails and will always sing their PRAISES...this place rocks.. ...thanx guys for the vote of confidence..
  7. well after what seemd like the longest self taught apprentiship,my porfolio was solid enough to take to a studio.not just any old crusty shop..Double Elevens Tattoos on eastern ave. in Baltimore MD.....let me tell you this place is something, even tho im in the smallest room in the building it sure beats tattooing out of my house...i was kinda worried when i first spoke with them, see the studio is very close to my house and because of that i have been tattooing the same people they were...so i was worried that they were gonna be pissed off at me and try to break my hands or some other stupid shit but NO..they were impressed with my drive, respect and honesty for this industry also the little bit of "tallent" (whatever you wanna call it) i posses....with that being said....i think i may have found a home...i have been working from this shop for the past 2 weeks and i have had at least 10 tattoos...i know more would be better but i am so stoked to be in this place that i dont even care if it were only 2...i have however found it hard to get the cheap hoodlums i tattooed from the neighborhood to come in here but what can i say they're cheap ass hoodlums...i finally became a profesional tattoo artist..and i owe it all to the INK TRAILS...without you fellow tattoo artist and enthusiasts to learn from i would have never made it out of my basement...its been a long road and i feel its just starting to get all twisty and turny...i love this job and i never wanna do anything else ever again...thank you everyone...
  8. i dont know anything about that ...but i use textured shaders when i wanna pack the color in...it seems to go right in and stay there...but thats just me...
  9. well i'm not a super huge fan of traditional style of color but i do like the use of skuls not of the human persuasion...i also like her hair and the leaves...all in all a very solid tradish-ish piece....
  10. think it looks good with the exception, that personaly i dont like b&g flowers..it loses something in translation....flowers should be colorful....but thats got nothing to do with the quality of your work....great job...
  11. i use zuper black...seems fine to me..but it does have a metal shine to it......never had any problems...it's black....i have a bottle of true black but havent used it yet...
  12. i use zuper black...seems fine to me..but it does have a metal shine to it......never had any problems...it's black....i have a bottle of true black but havent used it yet...
  13. i think this is a bitchin idea..........i just sent you a few pics.....hope my work is good enough....
  14. i totally agree...i'm so sick of seeing all this Ed Hardy merch.....yes it WAS great art and the designs WERE cutting edge at one time.. but to me it just seems flat and boring.....just my $.02
  15. i found that when i have artists block(whatever you wanna call it)....i ask someone(wife, mother, friends, artists) what kind of art do they like and then we start bouncing ideas back and forth...before you know it wah-lah.....new project...but sometimes it just comes from out of the blue....
