Please consider the following when giving feedback on a member's tattoo:
Line work: Does the artist seem to have grasped the technique of applying smooth, consistent lines? Do the lines flow with no shakes, skips or blow-outs?
Fill: Are all color and black areas a consistent color?
Shading: Does the tattoo show smooth gradients and transition effectively from light to dark?
Color Harmony: Does the tattoo have colors that compliment each other?
Placement/Size: Does the tattoo seem to be the right size for the area chosen? Is it centered and lined up with any other work? Does it go with the flow of the body?
Design: How well does the overall design work? Does it have sound composition? Does it feel well thought out?
Feedback: What areas could be improved?

That is awesome. You did this on fake skin. I gave up on fake skin shortly after I started using it (3 seconds). Time to start on your own leg. Just remember that fake skin is alot tuffer han real skin.

Thanks man, I had some trouble getting the ink in. Plus I had just re-worked my liner, and had to readjust a few things to get it running right. Fake skin is so fucking hard, there is another post about soaking it in something that softens it, Think Ill try that on the next piece of Pskin.

Just did this one today, a portrait of my wife. Thats my first attempt at a portrait and I should have chose a better reference, this one had very faint shadows. Yeah it really looks like shit, I hate it more the more I look at it. I just couldnt get the ink to take the way I wanted, It was kinda all or nothing.
Ps. My wife isnt that ugly. Ha Ha

Ok with a new day behind me I took a second look, I had initially used a 8rl for the outline and an 18rs for the rest. I decided to take an 8rs and re work some areas. I think this looks a whole lot better.

Looks good, I like color, but am more prone to b/w stuff. What kind of fake skin do you work on, do you know what it is exactly/where to get it cheap? I just know its something you can buy at a hardware store or hobby store. Im gonna try to find something comparable.

I just ordered some needles/tube combinations from Unimax. They look fuckin awsome. The tubes are matched to the needle. They shipped quick and packaging was good.
