Really haven't had a chance to do any tattoos recently, but i am going to do some more work on hubby's looony tunes peice which i started on his back some time ago in the fore coming week. Will post up pics of my progress in show and tell.
Although i have missed having the machine in my hand, it has given me lots of time to read read then re-read the forum.
Some of you guys have been real busy lately and i envy that you have had the opportunity to lay some ink.
Well could bore you all with the trivials of why i not picked my machine up. but i will spare you that one.
I am on the look out for a couple new machines, one set up as a liner, the other a shader. But with christmas just round the corner i think it will have to go on hold for a bit.
I love this time of year, the colour changes on the trees, kicking leaves in the park, trick and treating with the kids, then its guy fawkes here in the uk, my youngest ones birthday then christmas. Yep its a busy few months but don't you just love it.
Well beginning to go completly off topic here, and need to organise the boys for school, will hopefully post something up soon.

I really need to suss out how to use the digital camera, My photo's are mostly taken with my phone and the quality stinks. Did this one last night. I am pretty pleased with it, but did make a slight mistake with his eyes. I left the eyes to last, then when i went to add fill with the black i noticed that the ink was blending with the yellow. DUH! silly me. So i have left the last bit of fill in the eyes and will do once its healed. Hopefully i did not put in to much black.
There is a few spots that i need to touch up. But i was pretty pleased with the way it came out.

I seem to be going backwards with this blog, but i finally managed to get a pic (although not great quality) of a piece i done 3 months ago. It was the first time i had ever tattoo'd anyone other than hubby or myself, and i was pretty nervous about doing it, it was a cover up of a small cross that he had let someone do on each of his arms when he was younger.
I used a 3rl and 5rs. I also used the ink that came with my kit. ( i have now invested in some better quality inks.)
Although i was nervous i think it came out ok. We are both pleased with it.
I am currently in the process of doing another one for him on his other arm to cover the other cross.

This one was a piece of flash that had been mirror imaged. I am going to go over it as i used inks that came with my kit and they have faded.

Not too pleased with this one. It was my second time at tattooing some one other than hubby and me. It was done on a friends brother. His first tattoo and my first experience of flinchers. He flinched every time the needle touched him. I would like to go back and make the gaps between the petals smaller and tidy up my lines. But he is pleased with it. He had it done because his dad use to play Rugby.

A tribal/ tiger done on hubby. He wanted to keep the colours as close to the flash as i could get them.

The tramp stamp is my latest piece done on a friend over the weekend.
The loony tunes is on my hubby's back and is yet to be finished. Yosemite sam's hat needs some attention and bugs bunny has a missing hand. I will post more pics of this one once its finished.
