the flatmo book is awesome. YOu can never have enough references. Better than the book though, is a real human skull (or fake if you can't get one).

I skipped on the 18 angles book and my most recent acquisition is matt amey's "skull reference". 151 angles of a simple skull and comes with a cd with all the images for easy work in photoshop etc, instead of painstakingly scanning in each image.

Hope I'm not telling people stuff they already know...
For anatomical drawings, Grey's Anatomy is dirt cheap, and fairly good. Better still is an Atlas of Anatomy with photos of dissected cadavers, but they tend to be expensive. Gruesome reality don't come cheap, kids. The finest atlas is Netter's, and there are usually 2nd hand copies that can be picked up fairly cheaply - e.g. from med school bookshops, Amazon etc., and I believe there is a simplified (and cheaper) version that is probably more relevant to artists. -------------------- An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come.
