Guidelines for Giving Feedback

Please consider the following when giving feedback on a member's tattoo:

Line work: Does the artist seem to have grasped the technique of applying smooth, consistent lines? Do the lines flow with no shakes, skips or blow-outs?

Fill: Are all color and black areas a consistent color?

Shading: Does the tattoo show smooth gradients and transition effectively from light to dark?

Color Harmony: Does the tattoo have colors that compliment each other?

Placement/Size: Does the tattoo seem to be the right size for the area chosen? Is it centered and lined up with any other work? Does it go with the flow of the body?

Design: How well does the overall design work? Does it have sound composition? Does it feel well thought out?

Feedback: What areas could be improved?

High Tech Winding tool #1
plastic toothbrush handle, won't damage enamel and when it wears out you can steal another from the bathroom.
Very good for getting those first couple of winds real tight and gentle enough that you can chase the winds right through.

thanks buddy,i already made my bow.will post pic later.jus a bit busy right now (multi tasking on comp). but that is deff much more low tech lol.nice job.thanks. this is turning into a good thread.

gotta say again though if it wasnt for tommie from t.w. customs we wouldnt be having this talk. dude showed me the coil winding game from the ground up,and was hard enough on me that im making sweet sets now that run on super low volts (i notices that.the better my winding get,the less loose parts.the more even.jus the more perfect they are the less volts they seem to run on,for me atleast.)

heres what im using,i dont really hold it to the core while its spinning,just after the first few wraps if they need tightening between the wires this seems to work as good as my fingers for now
