I'm sorry, but if you can't follow the flow on this one, I'll be dumbfounded. Well... I can agree that he could have been a little less coiled up, but as far as everything else, I think... as unhumble as this may sound... THAT'S FUCKING MONEY!!! ![]() Justin.. do me fa favour and draw me out a single line following from end to end... cos i still cant follow from where the belly goes behind the head to where it joins the tail. -------------------- Nosferatu1812@yahoo.com

Justin.. do me fa favour and draw me out a single line following from end to end... cos i still cant follow from where the belly goes behind the head to where it joins the tail. i think the neck area is really thin...see how there is red under the light gray before the dark gray...idk how to explain it |

I'm sorry, but if you can't follow the flow on this one, I'll be dumbfounded. Well... I can agree that he could have been a little less coiled up, but as far as everything else, I think... as unhumble as this may sound... THAT'S FUCKING MONEY!!! I can't draw dragons for shit myself but I'm still not sold on the flow of the body J.D. I'll try and explain it with words as I don't have a way to do it digitaly so bear with me; anyhow if you start from the tip of the tail it curves left goes behind the body then arches out and to the right by the stomach but from there on its completely hidden which leaves you wondering if it just follows the curve of the neck by the horns or if something is missing. Now, I don't think that following that curve is unfeasable, it just makes you double take until your head figures out what's probably going on. Anyhow, I hope that made sense! G B Edited coz even I didn't understand wtf I had written! This post has been edited by Grinning Buddha: May 23 2009, 09:23 AM |

Ohhhhhhhh lord. O.K., give me some time to figure out how to do a digital line. I'm not sure if I can with what I've got on my end, but it'll be a while, so don't sit at the edge of your seats.
fuck awesome man, what did u use? is it water colour?? Color pencils. A technique I've accidentally come across to make it look like watercolor. -------------------- |

Mission accomplished, but too many people were confused by this layout. That much confusion means I cluttered it too much. A lesson was learned though. That's why I love this forum. -------------------- |

A great learning experience for all actually J.D; once you drew the line it made perfect sense but without knowing your vision there was a little confusion for me. Maybe different colours or flames/clouds splitting the two body lines it would pull the dragon out more? |
