If it were a shit product I wouldn't be talking about it. They were nice enough to throw me some samples and talk with me about it so I thought I would share. I've tried talking to other companies about their new products and I was lucky to get a responce to my e-mail. I still haven't gotten any replies about Alla Prima yet.

Have you compared the 5rl and the extra tight 5rl's? I have. i just got my sample order in from Tatsoul. 60 boxes or so. First thing I gotta say is WOW. What an extremely clean finish on these needles. So we pulled a few out for a closer inspection. Nice long taper. Bugger all flex. Very stiff. This is good for a long taper needle. The liners are the best liners I have ever seen, and I have had needles from everywhere being a supplier. The extra tight liners are unbelievable. Tight as all get out but perfectly made. And every needle is identical. Same solder lengths and amounts, same needle positioning in the groupings. The shaders look like they will put colour in real easy. Nice spread on the groupings which is a bonus. There are a lot of needles out there that would pass as loose liners and not shaders. The mags are where they come into their own. What a fantastic job they have done with these little beauties. Especially the curved mags. Perfection with every needle. Something we did notice with them. The needle loops are opposite to any needle we have ever stocked. Thats no big deal, just funny to see this. Anyway, overall, these would have to be the best needles we have ever seen. we are sending sheets of needles out to different studios over the week. Once studios get these needles I am tipping sales are gonna go through the roof. To answer grinning buddha.........the extra tight 5's would pass as a 3 easily. -------------------- www.Oztatz.com the premier discount tattoo supply company

i definitely believe u...they look amazing! the solder is soooo smooth and consistent Edit: but yeah...wouldnt a longer taper be better on a mag? It's good for both. You get thinner tighter lines that look cleaner. Especially if you are doing contruction lines for portraits or fine detail. With these the long taper and the strong needle make clean lines easier to get in. Which means less likely to blow out or over work while lining. Newer guys hate threes because their wobbles show up. With these the 3's are stronger making it easier to line. So your hand is the only thing moving and not so much the needles walking in the tube. -------------------- |

I can see huge differences between old needles and the new ones. -------------------- |

You would agree that their liners are super tight and they aren't even the tight liners they are advertizing. Makes precise lining easier. -------------------- |

The standard liners are tight groupings which is what a lot of my customers are looking for. The extra tights are tight as. Like the xt 5rl is easily a 3rl in lines but more solid as you would expect.
