Hi all,

It seems now days everyone wants custom work with wierd and way out ideas, the web is ok but hard to find quality pics. I was hoping people could help me out with some good reference books for animals, skulls, old school, pin ups, basicly anything that would help with custom work. Feel free to add anything you think might help.

Please post links to the book if you could.

Many thanks,

Dan

joe capobianco's "stripped down" is awesome when it comes to doing pinup style work,

Dragon Tattoo Design by D E Hardy is indisposable for dragons,

all of the horimouja reference books depending on what subject you desire, I have the koi one and it is awesome....

many others but those are some of my favorites from off the top of my head... tattooflashbooks.com carries them all and a ton of others... plus it has numerous pics of pages for each book which is great... as anyone knows it sucks to buy a $50+ book only to be disappointed with a lot of completely inapplicable stuff to fill out the book.

Loomis books if I remember can be downloaded from his site... perfectly legal if I recall.. but I won't supply a link
here just in case...
Search the web, you can download them (and again, not talking torrents here)

Of course, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure...

Well I ordered that dynamic book as well... I know I had it somewhere as a PDF, but I really do
prefer reading out of a book then on a screen..

Gil everet"s american pin ups is fuckin awersome. It's his collective works, if you flip through it, you'll recognize a ton of pin ups that have been used in tattoos. You can get it at a book store like barnes and noble.
