About time the police were held accountable for their actions, but in this case this Bannerman guy was clearly being a drunken fuckhead. If he had of walked towards an ARMED undercover cop with a knife instead of clenched fists he would be dead now and have no one to blame for it but himself.

Agreed, from that article it sounds like he was looking for trouble and picked the wrong guy to fuck with, though im sure thats not the whole story. Have to ask myself what the UC did to incite the guy in the first place. Only if we knew that could we judge the validity of the suit. |

to his defence, the copper was required by their code of conduct to identify himself as a police officer before taking any steps. drunken fuckwit or not, the cop was in the wrong
