oh yeah just for reference they have starbrite inks 4oz bottle for $39 i get it elsewhere for $23 and they have needle for 5rl $29 i get them for 12.50
i mean come on price gouging at it's best just because they'll ship to anyone doesn't mean they can rip people off

You are entitled to your opinion Bungle. Unfortunately not many suppliers responded when I asked about forming a relationship to advertise on the board. In addition, they offered up over $200 in free shit for contest winners here and have been super responsive and nice to communicate with. I haven't really compared prices, but part of my decision was based on the fact that they have a good selection of inks and supplies and their site was clean and easy to navigate. But hey, spend your money where you see fit! I 'aint mad at ya...

oh i understand you're not mad , i am not mad at them or anyone else either but i just thought that there pricing is way to high , i went there looking around i think they have a hugh selection but just about everything they sell is double or even more then doubled which is just wrong i can see trying to make a profit but gouging is gouging just look at the gas prices

Oh, one more thing...There's both retail and wholesale pricing. If you're a working artist, you'd be buying more than a bottle of ink at a time and would probably qualify for wholesale pricing. Just an FYI.

actual thats not true , i have always had these kind of prices weather i buy 1 bottle of ink or 10 and i am a working artist but everywhere i buy the price is way cheaper if i buy ink from whitehall it 22.50 a bot if i buy from unimax 23 a bot or techincal it 22 a bot all starbrite prices all 4oz bottles at pleasure 4oz bottles 39. i buy needle from whitehall 5rl 12.50 for a box of 50 and unimax 13. for a box of 50 at pleasures 29 for a box of 50 , it has nothing to do with me being an artist or not anyone can buy from these places , just an FYI

Actually, if you go to the website, there are separate sections of the website for retail and wholesale.

Yes, in the upper right hand corner of the site. You can download a spreadsheet with wholesale pricing. It's about 2/3 the price but you buy in bulk.

Yep upper right corner you pick retail or wholesale or distributor. If you pick wholesale you gotta buy like $100.00 worth of stuff and you get the discount. ONE black is like 30 bucks or something retail and 20 or so wholesale. i cant seem to order and not be at around that price so its worth it

I shopped around for "ONE" and ended up at Painful Pleasures. I could have gotten a good price at the bulk level but just wanted a few things. So... I paid quite a bit more. What I did like was that I did not get jacked on shipping. I got the ONE and a bundle of serilization pouches for about $4.00 shipping. That made up for the cheaper prices on the other sites that was planning on me paying $14.00 to ship a small package.
I got what I wanted and got it fast. I'll use them again.

I'd just like to say I have been using Painful Pleasures for most of my orders and usually takes about 2-3weeks to get the order to Australia, which is rather long.

Last week (Thursday) I placed another order with them and to my surprise the parcel turned up first thing Monday morning!! I dunno how they did it, but less than 3 working days from the US to Australia is damn quick!!! Usually takes longer to send a letter to Sydney, less than 4 hours drive away!!!

I placed an fairly big order at painful a while go, shipping was almost two months and i must admit that i would have expected far more quality products for that price, i mainly ordered textured needles, grips and tips. Just tryed them out and now all the stuff is collecting dust somewhere.

When i order from example US or Canada it takes abouy 7-8 days for the stuf to arive(i live in Norway)

when you go to painfulpleasures.com hit the retail button if you plan on just buying a couple things.. and on the first page if you scroll down you will see they have a "lowest price garantee" which states "We guarantee our prices are lower than our competitors. We will beat any price! Shop around and if you find a better deal somewhere else come back to us and we will beat it for you."

just food for thought =]

I bought piercing equipment about 4-5 years ago from them, all was OK, fast shipping, somebody named Mark was very kind to find me cheaper shipping. Sometimes the better service worths the additional money, at least now Im saying something good for them smile.gif

Now they owe me 2 beers for the ad! Cheerz!

# Retail Section - Shop the retail section if you are buying products for yourself or as a gift and don't have a business. It is not hard for us to tell if you have a business or not, so please don't shop in the wholesale or distributor sections if you are an individual, your order will not be processed.

# Wholesale Section - If you own a business and would like to resell our products to your customers you will want to shop here. Minimum Order is $100.00

# Distributor Section - If you own a business and would like to resell our products to your customers, or you run a wholesale business and would like to sell our products to your customers. Minimum order is $500.00

I would like to order "pretty much" stuff... but it said that you have own a business (and resell stuff) if you would like to use wholesale or distributor section. ohmy.gif So this not be my place order my stuff maybe? At least they got everything what i would like to buy and I think this company seems reliable.
Has anyone ordered the entire tattoo settings from there and what section you used? ohmy.gif I know now what i would like to buy but place where i gonna get them are a big interrogation.
