Got 3 pair for the Chicago show. They're all lawn tix, but i'm not complaining- they were FREE!! It took 3 hours to get 3 pair. I have friends that really wanted to go, but don't have computers, so i took the liberty of securing them tickets. One of my friends is taking his 15 year old stepson- it'll be his first concert and this friend has yet to see Ozzy in concert yet. This will be my 8th time seeing the ozzman.
So, did you ever get tickets synner? |

Nope.. no tickets for me..
I was talking to a guy from the local rock station (101WRIF) and he was saying that the detroit show sold out (or was out of tickets) in less then 30 mins. I tried for about 2 1/2 hours ;D Kinda bummed.. I was really looking forward to seeing the show.. Ozzfest is one of the best concerts of the summer I think.. I've seen Ozzy 3 times.. 2 of which were at ozzfest (1 was with Black Sabath ;D ) Its all good.. I got tickets for Family values (with Korn) and tickets for Marilyn manson and Slayer in Detroit ;D You have to let me know how the show went though.. there are some SERIOUS heavy bands playing this year!! Man his step son is going to LOVE it.. Wish my first show would have been somewhere as cool as OZZFEST.. thats an awsome way to start off!! my first concert was Garth brooks (with my parents).. and then White Zombie on my own (or well with friends) *haha* -------------------- No forgiveness for my sins, I preffer punishment

i tried for ozzfest tics at the tweeter center in mass to no avail, I do have tics to the projekt revolution tour at the tweeter.. cant wait for that i dont like all the bands but i want to see mindless self indulgence. On the subject of first concerts, mine was coal chamber and slipknot, back in either 98' or 99' it was a crazy show back when slipknot was not well known... no special affects just straight up mayhem coal chamber was the headliner and my favorite band at the time, but slipknot blew them away and i didn't even know any of their music

Don't be surprised if the people selling on Ebay end up having those tickets get cancelled out. Part of the user agreement was that you would not re-sell the tickets and they(livenation) have the right to revoke the ticket. A similar thing happened with Tom Petty last year. Not sayin' it'll happen with Ozzfest, but it could. So, be careful about buying them on Ebay.
My first concert was supposed to be Motley Crue & Whitesnake on the Girls, Girls, Girls tour. 8th row center. I was 11. Someone gave my mom fucked up directions to the arena and we never got there :'( . So, the next year my parents took me to see Def Leppard & Europe on the Hysteria tour. That was my first. Now i've been to almost 200 concerts- alot of bands i've seen numerous times. I went and saw Heaven&Hell (Black Sabbath w/ Dio singing) last month. Awesome show!! Megadeth and Machine Head opened. Next up is Poison/Ratt/Vains of Jenna on July 17th. Then Ozzfest, then 2 and a half weeks after Ozzy I'll be going to see Velvet Revolver & Alice In Chains. I've seen VR 3 times so far (I got to see the very first show of their very first tour!), but this'll be the first time seeing AIC- too bad Layne is dead. That William Duvall dude does a good job though. |

yeah I heard that too..
also alot of local rock stations were given HUNREDS of tickets to give away I guess.. so that should be scoreable too once the concert gets closer in date.. -------------------- No forgiveness for my sins, I preffer punishment

We went to the Poison/Ratt show in Chicago last night and they had Livenation reps selling Ozzfest pavilion seats for 10 and 20 bucks. We got a pair of center stage second pavilion tickets for 20 bucks. I was told that what they're doing is basically giving away the lawn tickets and selling the good seats at an affordable price to people that actually come out to shows. I was also told that on the day of Ozzfest there will be a limited number of seats available for "upgrade".
