> Guidelines for Giving Feedback

Please consider the following when giving feedback on a member's tattoo:

Line work: Does the artist seem to have grasped the technique of applying smooth, consistent lines? Do the lines flow with no shakes, skips or blow-outs?

Fill: Are all color and black areas a consistent color?

Shading: Does the tattoo show smooth gradients and transition effectively from light to dark?

Color Harmony:
Does the tattoo have colors that compliment each other?

Placement/Size:
Does the tattoo seem to be the right size for the area chosen? Is it centered and lined up with any other work? Does it go with the flow of the body?

Design: How well does the overall design work? Does it have sound composition? Does it feel well thought out?

Feedback: What areas could be improved?

Haven't posted in forever but I finally got to do a tattoo today. As some know I'm doing an apprenticeship and I havent been able to tattoo much. It's now to the point where I can schedule appointments. (small ones)

Anyhow this is a clothing company design that someone brought in, It was a pretty plain design and I tried to bring it to life some. 7rl, 7cm, 13cm. alla prima, stuff is nice biggrin.gif

Haha, thanks nerd. I know I did good if your chiming in with some good words wink.gif thanks bro!

thanks for the feel-good comments guys... the whole apprenticeship deal is pretty sweet. Been learning quite a bit, mostly I've just learned to take my time...no need to rush, get meticulous. This tattoo took me 3 1/2 hours, to me that just feels way to long but the results are worth it.
