Last week I posted a topic in the Art forum on the idea of this contest.

Basically, 1-4 objects or life forms are picked for the contest (quotes can be included and any quote will be counted as one (1) of the criteria points), anything you like as random as you like. Once the criteria has been chosen, one week is allowed for members to come up with a design in any style they like, as long as it has the aforementioned criteria within.

Designs should be judged by how well each item/lifeform has been put together, the relevancy of any script in the design if it was part of the selected criteria, however any script of your choice may included even if it is not included in the criteria. Aside from that, the usual deal goes with choosing the design you like.

If any entry is missing an object named in the criteria, it will be excluded from the contest.

For now, I'm asking members to suggest what 1-4 objects/life forms/quotes they'd like to see used for the first contest. I'll give it until the end of this week (I'm in Australia but I'll allow one extra day for USA inhabitants and the like) for members to put forth their suggestions, then I'll write the suggestions down on paper, pull 4 from a hat and that will be that...said the cat...to the mat...which was fat.

SO...enjoy! Please make plenty of suggestions! I think this will be a mega fun contest and would like to see it go strong! So pick whatever you like from razors to raccoons, butter to baboons and whatever else floats your boat.

Alright folks, suggestion time has closed.

This afternoon (4pm EST Australia) I will post a new topic announcing the 4 objects/beings/quotes that will be the criteria for the first McGuyver Tattoo Design Contest! All entries are due not this coming weekend but the Saturday to allow extra "creative juice flowing" time.

I won't be choosing any one persons list, it will be one from here and there to keep everyone happy. Then if the contest manages to take place a second time (which I hope it will) the winner of the first contest can choose the criteria his or herself however they see fit, be it ones they want to do or ones that others have suggested.

I would do it sooner but I'm kind of inbetween doing things at work haha.
