[font="Trebuchet MS"][/font] Man you dont know how long I have been searching for even a smidgeon of the information/tips that you have provided, I feel that if the hater tattooists are so concerned about "backyard" tattooists then they would help people out like you are doing to improve the quality, if they are truly artists and are concerned with their art rather than the few dollars they may miss out on. damn dude with that attitude you wont get anywhere on here... or anywhere else.
cus u paid 4 membership and cant find it i feel a lil bad lol so here.. one dime = 1p nickel = 2p i just compared them to my english coins and thats what i come up with... the dime is a little thinner than 1p but thats way to small for a airgap. i wouldnt use it as a rule only a guideline |

We get a lot of people rolling in here and asking for everything to be answered for them and that just is the wrong way to learn. It frustrates a lot of us. Reading about 30 posts on the subject of machine setup would give you not only your answer but also a lot more that you don't even know you need. One thing to remember also is that that gap is a starting point and not a sure thing. Adjustments will have to be made do to things like: ink consistency, voltage, hand speed, front spring style, front spring thickness. rear spring thickness, etc.... There are a lot of factors that go into it. Read up on machine tuning for a few hours and you will get a better all around understanding of what effects the air gap size. Later |
