So, Joeswanson has graciously offered up as the prize, his "Painting Tattoo Flash by Joe Swanson" instructional course. This is free, lifetime, online access. Click Here For Prize Info.
Theme is Patriotic Western Traditional Tattoo Design. Design size: 5x7 inches A good example of Western Traditional is of Bert Grimm's work: Click Here For Example These rules are in place to make the contest run smoothly and efficiently. Rules 1:- Original Art ONLY. This means if you are using any drawn references, you must give credit where applicable. 2:- Each member may submit only ONE entry 2:- Pencil, Pen, Ink, Crayon, Paints, watercolor etc... 3:- NO Digital or Photoshop (unless your cropping or making it a smaller size) 4:- Contest ends July 3rd at 5:00 PST. For this contest we will use the same system of judging as the Buzzbrush Contest, which will equal 3 votes. There will be a poll for the community which will count as one vote, Joeswanson will have one vote, and any mods not entering will have one vote. 5:- Art must be approximately 5x7 inches and conceived, designed, and created to be a finished tattoo. Material should be based on the theme listed above (Western Traditional with a patriotic theme for the country of your choice.) 6:- Nothing you drew a month ago is allowed, must be Original/New stuff from every contestant 7:- If you feel the need to prove your work, please provide evidence of this. (entirely up to you) 8:- Post your finished work in this thread 9:- The winning contestant will have to contact Joeswanson to claim the prize. Inktrails, though happy to host this contest, is no way affiliated to Mr. Joeswanson, or his prize offering. HAVE FUN!

Don't have any art supplies but I
thought I'd enter anyway. The image is 4" X 4" (Scrap paper). Don't really expect much to come from this but I hope it encourages a few more entries...... -------------------- We are all laying in the gutter but some of us are looking for spare change...

okay, heres mine. not finished but ill try and post the finished product tonight (if joe and the mods dont mind it being a couple hours after the deadline).
The page is cut at the bottom because my scanner is tiny so i had to do the bottom in a different scan for anyone who doesn't recognise the quote the full version is "I may be drunk, but you madam are ugly. But tommorrow morning when I am sobre, you will still be ugly"
