alright so in reguard to my earlyer post about i sketchbook im looking to put out featuring majority ink trails memebrs i have decided it will be done i need the following
first a message from these people espressing thier intrest or not intrest JD Gloworm arronrawk barnstormer tero the sleepy man Awful joe swanson Rosco Dyno ink sing amybird along with anyone else who is intrested thats just names i had off the top of my head ... also i need a unique name for this sketchbook any ideas pop em off to me ok so basically this sketchbook will be filled with unseen art from inktrailers themselfs so im looking for each person to submit 1-5 sketches weather they b full page sketches or small indeviduals where all 5 take up 1 page or in between whatever they are im looking for 1-5 sketches from each artist and maybe 1 fully colored design / painting anyone intrested again ask me any questioned u like and ill answer to the best of my ability -------------------- www.inkedbythenerd.com swallowsndaggers tattoo forum Swallows and Daggers Support The Traditional Movement Tattoo Artist, Painter, Asshole and Machine Collector |

sketch would be just an outline ....

You asked for 1-5 sketches and one finished piece. Maybe the finished piece could be the contest piece.

Sorry man, not really interested. I'd rather show 5 finished pieces on the art class forum than submit 5 sketches. Cause if I'm sketching, I'm sketching for a piece I want to do. If a majority are going to do it, i'll jump in...but I don't really see the point. Are you gonna print it? Sell it? Give us copies?

i think it would be better if maybe as well as a sketch we had the complete design - maybe like for each design - i dunno how you guys do them but i roughly scribble it all out in pencil and make adjustments - then when im happy i line it - thyen colour - be cool if we had all 3 stages of any tattoo's printed rather than a few sketches?

I dont particularly mind uploading 5 sketches I've got tons of the things lying around that i havent got round to painting yet, I also think it would be a good idea showing the stages of the design process rather than just having sketches however i didnt see your previous post regarding a sketchbook so I'm a little lost in the point of uploading these designs, If its just for learning from others methods sort of like a tutorial on each members design process that would be cool cause it would give others the chance to see what goes on behind the scenes ,so to speak, before they see the finished article, I know I would benefit greatly from seeing others methods.
If its for another purpose , I may be interested too, anything that mite improve my work or work process or could be beneficial to my portfolio I am interested in

glow if you want to include all finished works that fine aswell ...

EVERYONE ....
whoever is serious and would be willing to do this weather it be a few sketches or finished pieces this will be great for not only ur portfolios but publicity aswell being as im a poster onswallowsndaggers i may be able to get a lot of people thier intrested in this aswell so u will have many people seeing your work anyone serious please email me so i can mail out a contract saying what u will get whatever percantage or if u want to forfiet any percantage u can do that aswell on that form im not sure weather i will be selling this or just making people pay for just printing and shipping thats why i eed everyone to email me so i can get opinions from everyone ... please email me all who are intrested i have everyone mentioned here also i speak brail and natebot aswell as of now so please email me asap and let me know how many pieces you would like to enter weather u think we should sell it or give it as a benifit to members for printing and shipping cost only .. or both? email is sean@inkedbythenerd.com -------------------- www.inkedbythenerd.com swallowsndaggers tattoo forum Swallows and Daggers Support The Traditional Movement Tattoo Artist, Painter, Asshole and Machine Collector |

I honestly prefer painting a piece and throwing it up on this forum for critique. I'm so excited when I finish a piece that I just wanna throw it up immediately on here to see what you guys have to say about it, I'm not capable of producing five things and being quiet about them! Plus, I don't feel like I'm ready to have my art work put in a book yet with my name next to it. I bought that swallows and daggers zine though. Pretty good lil paper, felt like it was geared towards someone looking to tattoo some day, which is perfect. A lot of solid designs and inspiration too, thanks if you had anything to do with making it.

Nice to see Natebot's onboard, I was gonna suggest him...also Oni Baka, if he's still around, oh and I see Lucid's back on as well.
...I believe I have a title for you (that I personally think is perfect) "Paper Trails", or "Follow the Paper Trail". It definately works re the following a design through the stages from roughest sketch to finished painting/drawing. Waddya think? For getting accurate print colours, do you want them all submitted in the same colour format? E.g. all as Photoshop CMYK files, or RGB etc? I know how frustrating it is to carefully judge your colours then see them printed out like turd.

yeah amy whatever you like is fine ... i usually use RGB but whatever format u want to send it in i can use ...
