How to make a good cover up?
The cover ups are always the hardest part of the tattooing.I will not explain about the small pieces which can be covered with ordinary tattoos. Lets talk about the big ones. First I speak with customer and I expalain how the cover ups work. Some cover ups need time to find the right idea and design. I make a photo of the old one and printed out. Then I start to think about I make some sketches over the photography using the old tattoo for the darkest part of the new one. When the idea is clear I start with freehand, the best way for the most big coverups. Try to use thick lines, dark shading(almost pure coror for outlines). The good cover up has a good contrast by the colors. Some project coverup take a few weeks until I got the right idea to apply. Every tattoo is possible to be covered up,just need time and money for it Here is example: ![]() ![]() ![]()
