Looks pretty decent to me sir, but then again I'm still trying to get my flows down on my pieces
Only thing I don't really like is the face(Kinda reminds me of Bowser, super mario), but that all breaks down to opinion of styles |

its a good start, i would prpbably get yourself some reference and try rework the head a bit, and the water...although it might be a bit easier to focus on the dragon itself before moving onto any background elements... they can come later

Kinda hard to say without knowing where this is gonna go. How a piece maps to the muscles is more important than 2D movement. It's got good gesture so far, imparts dynamic motion. Just not sure how this is gonna map out on skin. The water kind of breaks up your motion tho. I kind of like one defined outline on either side of the design, just so it moves the eye smoothly, but I think that's more of a personal thing.

I personally like the flow but think there could be alot more done with the waves to help with the flow. Make those fingers reach and arch in the reverse direction of the dragon, kind of like a banner or ribbon would flow out behind him.
Also, I think the hands and feet need to be much bigger. -------------------- |

This is the first thing I noticed, but haven't studied this style much yet so thought perhaps it was meant to be that way. tellin the truth its my first dragon,im just working the design from my head, like u guys are saying think ill try referencing somewhat before i try to change it, thanks for all the help n ill get the next phase of it uploaded once iv done some dragon research.it was meant for someones inner fore-arm but the design just keeps getting bigger n bigger! |
