Just a quicky,
If i add an image, to say the show and tell section, then in the first few minutes i can go back and edit the post. If i wait a few days, or posts are made after it, the editing option goes away. Basically, i like to add updated tattoos as they happen, but cannot edit the earlier posts to add new images. Any suggestions, or possible misconfiguration of IPB? -------------------- =======================================================================

I find it's better to add pictures as the thread progresses so people can see that a new post has been made, then they see the newest picture. If you edited your original post and added a newer picture to it, most times it goes un-noticed as people only view new posts and totally bypass the initial one.
Does that make any sense? It's too early ..... -------------------- If at first you don't succeed ......... maybe skydiving is not for you.

You have the facility to edit soon after
you post so that if you didn't preview your post and you made some glaring mistake you can correct it without the hassle (or embarrassment) of having to post again. The reason you can't edit forever and ever is because the forum would be like the shifting sands & when you tried to look for something it may no longer be there or it may have changed beyond all recognition. You can always post again in your chosen thread if you want to add to the debate or update people on your progress or opinions....... -------------------- We are all laying in the gutter but some of us are looking for spare change...
