I as well wanna give a big 2 thumbs up and a huge thanks. when I first came to this site I had just got my gun and barely knew how to make the thing run, let alone run efficiently. Now I got ink on my leg im proud of and trying to find a place to do more. You guys helped me confidence, my technique, and I can tell my skills(or lack of) are getting better and I can see this site helping with any problems that will arise in the future. Thanks. I am a def. Ink-Trails Fan. Great Work.

i think if possible you should try to post videos and blog entrys more often. i started coming here maybe 2 months ago when i got curious about tattooing (actually doing it) and you used to post alot more. however, the forums have picked up alot so that usually makes up for it. i appreciate the fact that you took time to set everything up and made it easy for people to get to it.
i think when i found the site i was looking for "tattoo flash" and it went you your little archive thing. found the forum... fell in love its amazing how fast its grown, it really is. i wish i knew you guys in person! keep it real -ben -------------------- keepin' it real since 1986.

Thanks for all the kind words. Just posted on the main site, as we got a new machine and David inked me. Hopefully we'll be doing some more more, and posting the results. But, in the meantime, the forum is where it's at!

I think this site is great. I have been reading thru the posts and gaining a lot of information in just the short time I've been on here. It is nice to find a group of people who are willing to share their knowledge of the art. Keep up the good work!!!!

hi,
just a small thing really but it was kinda bugging me - my machine doesn't show much colour difference for those little tabs that run down the left hand side to show if you've viewed a section or not... I was wondering if I'm the only one to have noted this? Otherwise I think it's a great forum with lots of nice and friendly advice. Keep up the good work. gurgigirl :D |

Man! I cannot believe the things you guys have covered here. I've been tattooing (off and on) for around three years now and have found more helpful things in the few days I've been a member here than I have in the rest of the time I have been searching. Thans ever so much for this site.

love this forum.. I have been on ALOT of other tattoo forums and I honestly like the feel and mood of this one..
although I think you could get a little more creative with the over all appearance :D then again Im really not sure on how Simple Machines forums run.. the other simple machines forum I am a member of (www.michiganmotocross.com) looks exactly like this one.. so It must be a default look :D I also run a forum based website. so I know how much work goes into these things.. I honestly must say you guys are doing a great job. also Mark is a awsome asset to the site.. great job on your moderator picking! -------------------- No forgiveness for my sins, I preffer punishment

you guys are doing a FANTASTIC JOB, alot of tattoo forums dont want to help the newbie at all and just rip the piss out of them, You have shed lots of light on subjects others would not give you the time of day on.

This site is a great resource of knowledge. Which is pretty rare in this form of art. Is there a banner or something I can post on my other pages to help pimp this site out?

Great site guys, only found it last week bit I am impressed with the way you have had the guts to to chart your progress. It seems that we have the same problems in the UK, no tattooists want to help any one into the business and just put you down.An apprenticeship here is equally hard, if not impossible to get.
You seem to be doing something right, judging by how this forum has grown in such a short time, and it is good to know that I am not the only one who wants to learn to tattoo but can't get any help. Your site has helped a lot, I've learnt much from your mistakes...thank you! |

I have been searching high and low for some information on tattooing without having to shell out the big time bucks to apprentice. I am an artist and have been told that I should tattoo, and so I bought myslef the kit. I love it. But unfortunatley, the information it came with wasn' quite informative enough to tell me depths, spacings and tips.
I am doing this tattooing purely for my enjoyment. I love my tattoos and I want to be able to share that love and appreciation. But you have to start somewhere and no one seems to be willing to give ANY information out. I just don't get it. I will get an apprenticeship eventually, but I'd like to have some knowledge going in. SO thanks SO VERY MUCH!! I love this site and love the people on it. You are all so amazing! ;D |

The max upload file size is 192kb. Try reducing the size of your images in photoshop.
