Just want peoples opinions on these, i.e. where the designs can be improved etc...
I have only put in (very roughly) where i intend the black to go as my scanner only scans in greyscale, but they will eventually have colour put in.   |

bottom design is incredibly unique and awesome. love it to death. i feel the opposite about the top one, though

Yeah it is a heart lol I t was meant to be a bit of a sacreligous/gruesome take on the traditional sacred heart. Guess it hasn't really pulled off?

Has anyone else got any advice on how I can improve these designs? Just want to know if there is anything i'm missing?

For me the main problem with the heart is that it only just barely looks like a heart. However, I've just Googled anatomical heart pics to refresh my memory and help you out, but now all I see is power stations...
(Thanks ink-sink! lol) Not sure what to suggest to improve it, sorry...

If you're going for a traditional look on these, I think color would help out the heart alot. Lots of time, it's hard to tell exactly what's going on with a piece without the separation of color.
I think the flames should be reworked on the heart. Rather than have them twist all over the place, have them shooting off in the same general direction while at the same time forking them off into two or three streams. Like your reference flames. Does this make sense? The jawbone is awesome. Don't touch that unless you're coloring it. -------------------- |
