Alright well ive got a builder doing a custom machine as of now he wants to stay anonymous at the moment but hes a known builder here in the trails so here we have it.

thanx to barnstormer we have a title of "PAPER TRAILS" and we need a cover designed it can be a full page colored image it can be a simple sketch with text whatever u feel fits the bill heres the rules and what im looking for

- Paper trails written on the cover
- Original Art ONLY
- Each member may submit only ONE entry
- Pencil, Pen, Ink, Crayon, Paints, watercolor etc...
- NO Digital or Photoshop (unless your cropping or making it a smaller size)
- Art must be "Tattooable."
- Nothing you drew a month ago is allowed, must be Original/New stuff
- Contest ends October 31st at Midnight Hawaii Time ( thats 1 am Pacific )

Winner will be selected by the following:
A Poll for the forum members will be worth - 1 vote
Machine Builder will be awarded - 1 vote
and I will be awarded - 1 vote ( if i decide to enter a cover i will forfiet my vote )

Original artwork from the winner must be sent to me for scanning or photographing, then it will be sent to the machine builder so he can have the original cover to the book.

By entering art in this contest u give me the right to use ur artwork in the sketchbook even if it dose not win, if you would like me to not use it please say so when u post it thank you again

This is one i would have loved to enter...just because the title makes ideas flow all by itself.
Too bad i got way too much on my hands as it is. Would have been fun and interesting.

so is this going to be sold? How much does each book cost to make and going to sell for? You can go self publish on blurb for 12 bucks a book 40 pages neat bound starting and sell them for how ever much. You get an ISBN and if it's good it gets placed on Amazon. The work has to be phenomenal in order for anyone other then trails members to want it.

not 100% sure were gunna sell it yet i gotta see what all people participating want .. but im thinking about getting em spiral bound at staples i got a friend can most likley give me a good deal so ill see but thank mario ill check that out

yeah standard paper but whatever u wanna do i can photoshop whats needed

can we submit more than one piece for cover?

Can we please have a new rule where people who already have a tattoo machine cannot enter?

is this going to be a full color cover or a b&g cover like most sketch books?

My design's approaching completion... don't wanna be the first to post though! Been looking back through some old art posts this morning and I know it'll be nowhere near up the high standards of this place.. ah well, still fun to do
