I have never been in the armed forces but due to hobbies, jobs (gardener, outdoor pursuits and survival instructor) and general 'fashion' I have been in camo clothing for a large part of teenage (and older) years.
I have been interested for years in getting a camoflage themed tattoo (woodland, green, brown, olive drab type) I have only ever been able to find one picture example of a camo tattoo and tbh it looked attrocious! I would love a tattoo of this idea but not sure of what results would look like. Is this doable? From a photo realism point of view how difficult is it to recreate colours from a piece of fabric/photo? Thank you in advance |

They unzip to reveal camouflage on her achilles areas. Very cool tattoos. Very well done. She paid $175 per hour for them at a world class shop. -------------------- |

I do not see why not. I think the smaller the area the better, and if there is anything in the back or forground might make it easier.

That could be done. I like the German Flectar myself. Looks awesome and would look good in a band or half-sleeve.

The best DPM I ever had was ex-portugese stuff ...it had maroon patches in apparently to blend with rhodendron-like flowers....so I was told.I recently got some swiss stuff that is similar to german flecktarn but has (again) maroon in...very busy-looking.But for sheer class its got to be SS amoeba pattern or brit para denison smock, both ww2 vintage.Classic.
Dont see why some well chosen camo wouldnt work, and I agree that some kind of bordering/containment would bring it out nicely.Do it mate! -------------------- GENTLEMAN LOSER -- INTERNATIONAL SLUM DOG -- ON A FARM

Still trying to figure out a novel way of fitting it in a design. Was thingking tribal piece, tribal design with bold outline and camo interior, band round leg or fit it into designs for sleeve (would need to be a fair size to get the idea) |
