> Guidelines for Giving Feedback

Please consider the following when giving feedback on a member's tattoo:

Line work: Does the artist seem to have grasped the technique of applying smooth, consistent lines? Do the lines flow with no shakes, skips or blow-outs?

Fill: Are all color and black areas a consistent color?

Shading: Does the tattoo show smooth gradients and transition effectively from light to dark?

Color Harmony:
Does the tattoo have colors that compliment each other?

Placement/Size:
Does the tattoo seem to be the right size for the area chosen? Is it centered and lined up with any other work? Does it go with the flow of the body?

Design: How well does the overall design work? Does it have sound composition? Does it feel well thought out?

Feedback: What areas could be improved?

I don't meen to be a dick but the locket looks f$*ked, it's all out of proportion, the shading on the locket is wierd - it doesn't seem to have a definate light source
and the key hole is off centre... as is the chain that goes through it

the roses on the other hand look pretty slick!

Your linework is lookin pretty good man!
What pops out to me critique-wise, is that some of the gradients are really pretty good, and some are patchy and rough. Looks like you use a really slow hand speed when shading. Might want to try working a little faster at the gradient edges, and whipping with some longer, quicker strokes.
Also the proportions seem kinda wacky. The keyhole on the heart looks off.
Reason for edit: Sorry to repeat some things, just noticed his critique above! ^^^
